A New Landmark in Victoria’s Construction Calendar
Melbourne Build Expo 2025 is set to be Victoria’s landmark construction and design trade show launching for the first time in Melbourne on 22-23 October 2025 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre (MCEC) in South Wharf. It is the inaugural edition in Melbourne, expanding the reach of the Sydney Build model into Victoria. The expo is organised by Oliver Kinross, the same event company behind the successful Sydney Build Expo, underlining that Melbourne Build is very much part of the “Global Build” portfolio of city-based construction shows.
The ambition is bold: bringing together 300+ exhibitors, 450+ speakers, and 10,000+ (some sources project up to 12,000+) attendees across two days. Attendees will include contractors, architects, civil and structural engineers, developers, local government, house-builders, and allied professionals. Because of its tie to the Sydney Build brand, many exhibitors and attendees from Sydney and across NSW see Melbourne Build as a natural companion event. Many Sydney Build exhibitors are expected to cross over to Melbourne, leveraging their existing relationships and brand presence in the broader national construction ecosystem.
Why Melbourne Build Expo 2025 Matters
Melbourne Build Expo extends the success of Sydney Build into the Victorian market, giving local trades, suppliers, and innovators a world-class platform to connect, learn, and grow. From large-scale civil projects and housing developments to boutique architectural design and renewable technologies this event is where the future of Victoria’s construction industry takes shape.
